Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Martial Arts Instructor, based in San Diego, CA. The instructor will be responsible for leading martial arts classes, demonstrating techniques, and providing personalized coaching to students of varying skill levels. Responsibilities will also include developing training plans, ensuring the safety of participants, monitoring progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. The instructor will serve as a mentor and role model, encouraging students to build confidence, discipline, and respect through martial arts practice.
Qualifications
- Experience in Martial Arts Instruction and Training
- Proficiency in Taekwondo, Boxing, and Kickboxing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students of all ages and skill levels
- Ability to create engaging and safe training programs tailored to individual and group needs
- Demonstrated leadership, organization, and motivational skills
- Certification in martial arts styles relevant to Taekwondo, Boxing, or Kickboxing is a plus
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable
