Duties

- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Clover POS, to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café or food service area, including dining tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store, café, or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Familiarity with Clover POS or similar systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
