What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Line Lead position at World Bioproducts?
The Line Lead executes the production schedule for the manufacturing line as assigned by the Production Supervisor. This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding the quality and production goals set by the company, training, and reporting on line performance, efficiency, and product volumes. The Line Lead oversees manufacturing line personnel and is responsible for facilitating a productive, positive and safe work environment. The Line Lead is a “working” line lead, meaning that the line lead fully participates in all assembly and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- One or more years in a manufacturing environment
- One or more years' experience as a lead or supervisor
- Good eyesight and dexterity
- Reading skills sufficient to comprehend the written word at a minimum of a tenth grade level
- Arithmetic ability sufficient to perform computations at a minimum of an eighth grade level
- Dedication to employing safe practices at all times
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to navigate a busy production area
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
