Elementary Physical Education, Health & Wellness, and Coaching Support Teacher (2026-2027 School Year)
World Academy is seeking an energetic, student-centered educator to serve as our Elementary Physical Education, Health & Wellness, and Coaching Support Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Physical Education and Health & Wellness classes while fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that promotes lifelong wellness, physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy decision-making.
The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity through engaging lessons and skill building. Applicants should be committed to supporting the physical, social, and emotional well-being of students while encouraging active participation and personal growth.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. They will collaborate regularly with administration and the athletic director to promote student success, and contribute to a positive school community. The candidate will be expected to support the school's athletic programs through coaching and other athletic opportunities, as well as participate in additional responsibilities assigned by administration, such providing daily supervision and interaction with students during lunch and recess. These duties provide valuable opportunities to build relationships with students and contribute to the overall school community.
We are looking for candidates to hold at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A valid New Hampshire or Massachusetts teaching certification (or certification from a state with recognized reciprocity) in Physical Education, Health Education, Elementary Education, or a related field is preferred.
