Scheduling Coordinator (CNA)Turn your job into a career with Worland Health and Rehabilitation!Job Summary:Worland Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator (CNA) to create, maintain and manage schedules for floor nursing staff in an organized and timely manner. Essential Functions:Create and Manage Schedules:Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, in accordance with center facility assessment. Post schedules for staff at least two weeks in advance.Adjust schedules based on staffing needs, census fluctuations, new admissions and employee availability.Utilize schedule to minimize overtime and temporary agency usage.Coordinate with Staff:Communicate with nursing staff regarding their schedules, shift changes, and time-off requests.Address any scheduling conflicts or issues that arise.Communicate daily any change of resident status as pertains to scheduling as needed.Maintain Records:Keep accurate records of staff attendance, time-off requests, and shift swaps.Maintains tracking system for license renewals and OBRA compliance.Work closely with center HR/PR/BOM to manage accurate time keeping records to maintain Center compliance with PBJ submissions.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, labor laws, Center policies, and Union contracts (if applicable) for nursing staff.Collaborate with Management:Work closely with nursing home management to understand staffing needs and budget targets.Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding open nursing positions.Communicate staff reported discrepancies to the ED/DNS to foster positive relationships with staff and reduce turnover.Manage and report labor hours on a per patient day basis to the Executive Director and Director of Nursing Services daily.Use Schedule Software:Utilize scheduling software (where available) to create and update staff schedules.Train staff on how to use the scheduling system if necessary.Other duties, as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.Familiarity with scheduling software and tools.Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.CNA certification required.Benefit Highlights:Private Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental, Vision)DailyPay - Hard Work Pays Off On the Daily!Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramTraining & Development OpportunitiesWe strive to embody and stand for both a spirit and value system that encourages loyalty, honesty, and a commitment to caring from our belief that people are always the number one priority.Worland Health and Rehabilitation1901 Howell Avenue, Worland, WY 82401, USAWorland Health and Rehabilitation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
