The Loss Mitigation Processor is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Creating all new hardship files and verifying all required documents received, ensuring they are forwarded to the Loss Mitigation Specialists for underwriting within the specified timelines.
- Completing new realtor certifications, quarterly realtor recertifications, and monthly BPO certifications.
- Processing bankruptcy mail and completing initial bankruptcy setup in Symitar and Akuvo.
- Ordering BPOs, AVMs, property profiles, credit reports, and appraisals when required.
- Utilizing skip tracing tools to improve borrower contact.
- Reporting delinquent loans to various PMI vendors in accordance with PMI policies.
Required qualifications for the position include:
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Telephone Contact, Collections, Loan Servicing, or Mortgage Loan Processing.
- Loss Mitigation and HAMP experience are required.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced skills in Excel and Access), Internet use, and Software Systems: Symitar and Akuvo.
- 1-2 years of experience in Mortgage Loans preferred.
Pay Rate Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
