What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers Compensation and No-Fault Coordinator position at Workstar Injury Recovery Center?
Specialty Clinic looking for a professional, energetic person to join our growing practice as our Workers Compensation and No-Fault Coordinator. Excellent communication skills and positive attitude a must. Experience with working in a Medical Office a plus.
Responsibilities
- Verify and update insurance, adjuster, and claim information
- Process incoming referrals
- Register and schedule new patients
- Register new patients in prescription system (AHCS)
- Submit and follow-up on all treatment plans requested by provider
- Send out referrals and orders
- Prepare charts for patient visits
- Assist Providers directly on Workers comp and No Fault issues
- File and respond to all correspondence from patients, providers, adjusters, managers, and attorneys.
- Review and summarize IME's, hearing decisions, and records from outside facilities and advise providers
Skills
- Able to communicate effectively
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Computer Literacy, working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office Products
- Able to Multi-task
- Able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Background in medical terminology a plus
- Background in Workers Compensation and Prior Authorization plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
