About the Opportunity

Workspire is partnering with a leading organization in the mission-critical construction and advanced technology infrastructure space to identify a Senior BIM / VDC Manager in Atlanta, GA.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a builder-technologist who thrives at the intersection of electrical systems, BIM/VDC, and digital transformation. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how complex projects, particularly data centers, advanced manufacturing, and high-tech facilities, are designed, coordinated, and delivered.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has evolved from project execution into digital delivery leadership, and is passionate about leveraging automation, BIM, robotics, and data-driven workflows to improve performance, margins, and scalability across projects.

You Will Do

• Within your first 6 months, evaluate and optimize BIM/VDC workflows across active projects, identifying opportunities to improve coordination efficiency, reduce rework, and increase labor productivity by 20–30% .
• Within your first 9 months, implement or enhance automation-driven modeling workflows (Revit, Dynamo, scripting) to streamline production and reduce manual effort across electrical systems and coordination processes.
• Within your first 12 months, establish scalable digital delivery standards and BIM execution strategies that improve project throughput, consistency, and margin performance across multiple projects.
• Lead BIM/VDC execution for mission-critical and high-tech projects, ensuring alignment between design, engineering, field operations, and fabrication teams.
• Partner with project management and field leadership to align BIM with procurement, scheduling (Primavera/MS Project), and installation workflows.
• Drive adoption of digital tools and platforms (e.g., Procore, ACC/BIM 360, cloud-based systems) to improve real-time collaboration and project visibility.
• Oversee electrical system modeling and coordination, including high-voltage systems, clash detection, constructability reviews, and field integration.
• Serve as a senior leader across cross-functional teams, bridging design, IT, operations, and construction.
• Identify and implement opportunities for robotics, prefabrication, and digital twin integration to improve delivery outcomes.
• Mentor BIM/VDC team members and project staff, building a high-performance, innovation-driven culture.

What We Are Looking For

• 10 years of experience across electrical construction, BIM/VDC, or digital delivery, with progression into leadership roles.
• Proven experience delivering mission-critical projects (data centers, advanced manufacturing, high-tech facilities).
• Strong background in electrical systems (including high-voltage) and their integration into BIM/VDC workflows.
• Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and experience with Dynamo or automation scripting.
• Experience implementing or optimizing BIM automation, modeling standards, and clash detection workflows.
• Familiarity with project controls tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Procore.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across design, engineering, field, and IT.
• Experience driving process improvement, lean construction principles, and margin optimization.
• Strong understanding of procurement, budgeting, and vendor coordination within construction projects.
• PMP certification, Autodesk certifications, or equivalent credentials preferred.
