Join our dynamic team to become a Commercial Flooring & Tile Installer. We are looking for a self motivated, excited to learn person to assist and install commercial floor and wall tile. In this role, you will be responsible for working with others and independently assisting & installing a variety of commercial flooring materials, including floor and wall tile, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. You'll work on diverse construction sites, learn to interpret blueprints / schematics, and utilize a wide range of hand and power tools to deliver exceptional results. This position involves manual labor to include lifting / bending / stretching / possible ladder or scaffolding use & working in various climate settings daily.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the Installation of various types of commercial materials for the floor and wall according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation plans.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors and walls to ensure proper adhesion and longevity of floor and wall products.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing tile materials.
- Related tasks may include caulking, trim carpentry, fixture removal / installation, and water damage restoration to enhance overall project quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address on-site challenges promptly to a chain of command structure.
Qualifications
- Experience is not necessary - we will train the right dedicated candidate for long term employment with WorkSpace Flooring.
- Knowledge of construction processes is helpful for a faster development.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools as well as power tools including grinders and sanders, drills, multi-tool.
- Familiarity with schematics, construction, painting, concrete finishing, remodeling, and cabinet installation is a plus.
- You will be required to work safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
- Experience not required, but will pay according to skill level.
- Must be responsible, arrive on time, and have own personal transportation. *(mileage is paid from office to site based on tracked log book entries.
- Must be able to pass an in-depth background check.
