What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Ambassador position at WorkSource?
WorkSource is a local hiring marketplace for the Charlotte region. We verify every employer and job seeker before they connect, so people know they are dealing with real companies and real jobs. We are hiring Brand Ambassadors to help people across the area find out about it and sign up.
What you will do:
- Work door-to-door blocks, walking into local businesses in busy areas and introducing WorkSource to owners, managers, and job seekers
- Staff WorkSource tables and booths at community events, job fairs, and campuses
- Help people create their WorkSource accounts on the spot
- Share WorkSource on your own social media, if you are comfortable with that
Pay:
- Flat rate per block. Door-to-door blocks are $20/hour, and event blocks are $30/hour.
- Pick the blocks that fit your schedule. Work as little or as much as you want.
- Referral bonuses that keep paying as the people you bring in stay active.
Where it can lead:
- Top performers can move into a full-time W-2 Account Manager role.
- Ambassadors who do well get a recommendation from our founder on LinkedIn and on WorkSource.
You are a fit if you:
- Live within an hour of Charlotte, NC
- Have reliable transportation, or live near busy, walkable areas
- Like talking to people and do not mind starting the conversation
- Show up when you say you will
Part-time, 1099 independent contractor. 20 openings.
