Position Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Outbound Business Development Representative to drive strategic pipeline generation through sophisticated account-based outreach and partner ecosystem development. This role requires a proven hunter who can navigate complex enterprise organizations, build executive relationships, and create high-value opportunities from scratch.
You'll lead our most strategic outbound initiatives, mentor junior team members, and serve as a key contributor to go-to-market strategy development. This role blends advanced prospecting techniques with strategic partnership cultivation, requiring deep market knowledge and exceptional execution discipline.
This is a high-impact position for a seasoned BDR who excels at multi-threading in enterprise accounts, crafting executive-level messaging, and consistently driving results in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential customers through targeted research and multi-channel outreach
- Personalize messaging based on industry, persona, and enterprise application landscape
- Leverage intent data, account engagement, and partner insights to guide outreach timing
- Execute outbound prospecting motions, including cold calling, email sequences, and social engagement
- Develop a strong understanding ofWorksoft'splatform, competitive landscape, and value propositions
- Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure clean handoffs and nurture progression
- Proactively engage partner sellers to uncover joint opportunities
- Coordinate co-selling motions including warm introductions, overlapping accounts, and shared prospects
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity, SQL, and pipeline goals
- Provide actionable insights to marketing on messaging resonance, persona behavior, and campaign performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities, insights, and qualification notes in CRM
- Continuously improve your knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitors
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate new business opportunities
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related experience
- 3 years of experience in sales or business development role
- Confident communicator who can engage senior personas
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Resilient, persistent, and comfortable working toward quotas
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Desirable Skills
- Experience using a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce)
- Experience with account-based prospecting tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or intent platforms
- Familiarity with the software industry or experience selling software products
Mode of Work: Remote
Location: United States or Canada
Reports to: VP of Product Marketing & Growth
Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000 USD OTE
