About the Role:
Worksaver Material Handling Equipment in Shawnee, OK is looking for a driven and experienced Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead our production floor team. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing production activities to meet output goals and deadlines
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate production floor staff to maintain high performance standards
- Monitor production schedules, workflow, and equipment to ensure efficient operations
- Enforce safety protocols, OSHA compliance, and company policies across the production floor
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, quality issues, and process inefficiencies
- Track key production metrics and report performance data to plant management
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics teams to support seamless operations
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as shop foreman
- Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality control principles
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of production workers
- Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, technical drawings, or work orders
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field preferred
