What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at WORKRIGHT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES?
We are looking for a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will develop physical rehabilitation programs to enhance patients' quality of life. This position can be part-time or full-time, and applicants must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in Illinois. You will be working at an occupational medicine clinic and physical therapy facility located in Countryside, Illinois, and/or Alsip, Illinois. We welcome candidates with or without experience, as we can provide training. Flexibility in performing clinical duties is required, and you must be able to relocate to either our Alsip or Countryside clinics. Training will include daily medical operations, such as taking vitals, and a positive attitude is essential. You should also be prepared to assist with routine clinical tasks if needed. Basic computer knowledge is necessary, as you will be entering data into the computer system. Our clinic has a family-oriented and community-driven atmosphere. We encourage recent graduates and those without experience to apply, and you can rest assured that there are no weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
- Work directly with patients and doctors to achieve maximum physical recovery
- Evaluate the effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
- Record and document patient care services
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
- Previous or no experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to build client relationships with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills
- Strong leadership qualities
