Duties

• Safely deliver fitness equipment using a box truck or similar vehicle, ensuring timely arrival at job sites.
• Assemble and install various types of fitness equipment, including cardio machines, weight systems, and specialized gym apparatus, following detailed schematics and manufacturer instructions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation or post-installation, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to resolve problems efficiently.
• Conduct equipment repairs or adjustments on-site as needed to ensure optimal functionality.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repair processes.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their space requirements and provide expert guidance on equipment placement and setup.
• Maintain safety standards during all phases of delivery, assembly, and installation, including proper use of tools and adherence to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proven experience in appliance repair, equipment assembly, or field service roles with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and troubleshoot electrical components.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC systems, or refrigeration-related equipment is a plus.
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with service technician responsibilities involving electrical repairs and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in appliance or equipment repair enhances your effectiveness in this role.
