Southeastern Arizona (site-based, full-time)
Electrical Planner responsible for developing and coordinating electrical maintenance plans and schedules for mining and processing operations. Works with maintenance, operations, and supply chain to scope, schedule, and resource electrical work while minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop job plans and weekly/monthly schedules for preventive, corrective, and planned electrical maintenance.
- Estimate labor, materials, and contractor needs; maintain prioritized backlog.
- Coordinate outages, shutdowns, and work packages.
- Support reliability of motors, MCCs, VFDs, distribution systems, pumps, conveyors, SX/EW equipment, instrumentation, and PLC/SCADA systems.
- Ensure parts availability and coordinate with contractors.
- Maintain CMMS records, work orders, and PM schedules.
- Incorporate MSHA and electrical safety requirements (LOTO, arc-flash, permits) into plans.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED recognized electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
- Minimum 5 years electrical maintenance experience in mining, mineral processing, or comparable industrial setting.
- At least 2 years maintenance planning/scheduling experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use a CMMS Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred
- Open-pit or copper mining experience (heap leach/SX/EW).
- Prior industrial electrician or electrical lead experience.
- Familiarity with VFDs, PLCs, NFPA 70E, and CMMS systems (Pronto, SAP, Maximo, etc.).
Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
