Role Description: The Senior Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Tucson, AZ area. This role oversees HR operations, including the development and implementation of HR policies, employee relations, and personnel management practices aligned with company standards and legal requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, administering employee benefits, supporting performance management, and advising leaders on HR best practices. The Senior Human Resources Specialist will handle employee inquiries, mediate workplace concerns, maintain accurate HR records, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen engagement and retention. The role collaborates closely with management to ensure HR strategies support organizational goals within the construction and industrial sectors.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with 7 years of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, interpret, and implement HR Policies in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing Employee Benefits programs, including enrollment, compliance, and employee communication.
- Proficiency in Personnel Management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance support, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of labor laws, workplace compliance, and HR best practices, preferably within construction or industrial sectors.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across teams.
- Comfort working on-site and partnering closely with operations and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
