Duties
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing laundry areas regularly to maintain a safe and organized workspace
- Handle delicate items with special care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with guest requests related to laundry services promptly and courteously
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and ironing equipment
