Summary
The Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist will work under the direction of the Controller as they process accounts payable, payroll, and other duties as may be assigned. The Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist will have contact with attorneys, firm management, staff, and clients, which requires strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to correspond in a professional matter. This position requires an individual who is meticulous, highly organized and detail oriented, dedicated to customer service and able to work quickly, efficiently, and independently. Excellent communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Essential Functions
- Accounts Payable, including general, expense reimbursements, foreign payables, etc.
- Resolving questions and concerns.
- Record daily deposit.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Payroll processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- 3 years in payroll and accounts payable, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Adaptability to changes in work requirements or assignments.
- Analytical skills to identify problems and achieve desired solutions.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and pre-set deadlines in an accurate manner with consistently high production.
