Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare for children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, nap times, and diapering for infants and toddlers
- Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures to promote development
- Ensure a safe environment by monitoring children closely and practicing first aid when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning up after meals and tidying play areas
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized care plans and working closely with families or specialists
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Knowledge of child development principles for infants through preschool age
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Ability to cook nutritious meals suitable for young children and manage meal preparation efficiently
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for nurturing young minds
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and other caregivers
