Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable, safety-driven Class A CDL drivers for a high-demand local city position in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a home-daily role offering consistent hours, competitive hourly pay, and predictable scheduling with no long-haul freight. Drivers in this position run local shuttle and city routes, operate updated equipment, and receive guaranteed daily hours with opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely within DOT and company standards
• Perform local city, shuttle, and yard movements as assigned
• Work assigned evening or night shifts (current start times: 6:00 PM & 9:00 PM)
• Maintain accurate logs, inspections, and paperwork
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and onsite supervisors
• Provide dependable attendance and schedule flexibility
  
  
  

Position Details:

• Pay: $27.50 per hour (pay increases at 1, 2, and 3 years)
• Home Time: Daily (10 hours off every 24)
• Hours: 8 - 14-hour shifts; guaranteed 8 hours/day
• Overtime: Begins after 50 hours/week
• Hiring Radius: Must live within 50 miles of Fort Wayne, IN
• Schedule: Must be willing to work any assigned shift; Saturdays required at least 3× per month
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A license
• 6 months of recent CDL-A experience preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and varying shift times
• Must meet DOT medical and safety qualifications

Disqualifications:

• DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• Drug/alcohol test refusal or failure (Clearinghouse not cleared)
• More than 2 moving violations (12 months) or 3 (36 months)
• More than 1 preventable accident in the last 12 months
• Felonies involving violence/theft in the last 710 years
• Unverifiable work history or safety-related terminations
• Living outside the 50-mile hiring radius
