Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications and platform components
• Work across multiple layers of the stack, including UI, application logic, middleware, and system services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced user experiences and system capabilities
• Partner with product, design, backend, and platform teams to bring features from concept to production
• Integrate applications with underlying system components for seamless end-to-end functionality
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design, and development best practices
• Ship production-grade software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3 years of experience in Android or iOS development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI)
• Experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Android system internals (framework, services, SDKs)
• Exposure to AOSP or Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
• Experience with platform-level or system-oriented Android development
• Background in performance optimization, debugging, or large-scale applications

Additional Details:

• This role is W2-only
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• 6-month contract with strong potential for full-time conversion
