Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Scheduler. This role is essential for keeping projects on track, on time, and within budget. You will bridge the gap between the design phase and on-site execution, ensuring seamless coordination between project managers, procurement teams, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules from pre-construction through project closeout. Monitor progress and implement recovery strategies to mitigate potential delays.
- Procurement Management: Actively track the procurement schedule. Coordinate material lead times and equipment deliveries with the master schedule to ensure resources are available when needed and prevent on-site downtime.
- Final Design Review: Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to review final design documents. Assess designs for constructability and identify potential timeline impacts before construction begins.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate regular review meetings with subcontractors and vendors to ensure all parties remain aligned with upcoming milestones.
- Reporting: Generate accurate progress reports and schedule updates for leadership to provide full visibility into project health.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in construction scheduling or project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or Procore).
- Blueprint Literacy: Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on project efficiency and detail.
