We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and order pickers, to move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track product movement and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with materials handling processes and warehouse management systems.
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts safely, including cranes, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and order pickers.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $17.60 - $18.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
