Job Description
Love Family Healthcare, PLLC, is seeking a Medical Office Front Desk Representative for our Arlington location. The Medical Office Front Desk Representative will assist with patient registrations, schedule and confirm appointments and insurance information. The Medical Office Front Desk Representative will also receive and direct phone calls, accept payments for physician services, and greet patients and other visitors.
Job functions
- Respond to routine inquiries concerning practice services, hours of operations, and general questions regarding the practice
- Receive and direct phone calls
- Assist with patient registration duties by collecting and verifying insurance cards and photocopying/scanning appropriate documentation
- Verify patient identity and demographics and enter changes into practice management system
- Direct patient to appropriate waiting area
- Schedule, confirm, and verify patient appointments
- Arrange follow-up visits and referral appointments
- Verify patient insurance information
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail to the appropriate department
- Scan patient documents involving insurance information into the EMR system
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support
- Provide clerical support to other departments
- Collaborate and work as a team with other departments
- Perform other duties as requested
