Overall Position Description:

The Cyber Security Analyst will be part of the Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) organization focused on supporting training, communication, awareness and policy assessment and updates.

Responsibilities

• Support Information Security resources in performing various activities related to security and governance with special focus on policy, communication and awareness
• Enhance the awareness of Cyber Security risks
• Understand the technologies and security challenges faced
• Assist in developing and delivering information security awareness and training to stakeholders
• Maintain awareness of the changing threat landscape
• Produce a Scorecard reflecting policy compliance.
• Support the security policy updates
• Perform assessments against security policy to measure overall security compliance.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Post 9/11 Military Veteran with an Honorable discharge, OR currently serving in the National Guard/Reserve
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with IT experience
• Available to work Full-time

Qualifications (Required):

• To be eligible you must be a Veteran with an honorable discharge and served in the military post 9/11 (or currently serving in the Guard/Reserve)
• High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong competency documenting and presenting in written and verbal English
• Customer focus (internal and external)
• An operating knowledge of information security principles and practices

Qualifications (Desired):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration with a concentration in technology management preferred
• The ability to understand network topology and IT concepts
• Experienced in Advanced Excel functions and the office suite of products
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experiences
• Ability to foster working relationships with the team, IT Management and Client departments
• Strong understanding of Information Security
• Strong judgment and management skills
• Strong analytical ability
