Position Summary
WorkFit Medical Staffing is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN), who will be centrally delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you provide compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes for patients and their families. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in accordance with professional nursing standards.
- Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments, incorporating physical, psychological, educational, and age-specific needs.
- Communicate patient status effectively and document assessments clearly within the medical record; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care based on patient needs, strengths, limitations, and goals.
- Continuously evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, including those related to patient safety, medication administration, and documentation standards.
- Utilize available resources to support the needs of patients and their families.
- Participate in evidence-based practice by completing at least one Clinical Research Utilization (CRU) submission annually, using recent (within 5 years) U.S.-based research.
Professional Development & Compliance
- Complete a minimum of five (5) nationally approved continuing education hours (CNE or CEU) annually.
- Maintain compliance with all required in-services, health screenings, and organizational training requirements.
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice

Shift: Night (4x9 Hours) 19:00 7:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
