Key Responsibilities
- Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
- Monitor patients during the scan and respond to any discomfort or complications
- Review images for quality and ensure they meet diagnostic standards
- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment
- Follow strict safety guidelines due to strong magnetic fields
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of MRI imaging techniques and anatomy
