- Prepare the cardiac catheterization laboratory and specialized equipment before procedures
- Assist physicians during cardiac procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, and stent placement
- Operate imaging and monitoring equipment to visualize blood vessels and heart function
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with catheter insertion and equipment handling
- Administer contrast agents and medications under physician supervision when required
- Document procedure details and patient responses
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of cath lab equipment
- Provide post-procedure patient care and monitoring
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures
- Ability to operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety
- Ability to work in high-pressure medical environments
