Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Controllers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic flow through work zones. This position requires a strong understanding of mobile operations. Must able to stand for 8 plus hours per day. This is a zero-hours contract. Hours of work are not guaranteed and may vary depending on work locations and availability. Must have daily reliable transportation; it is preferred to have a valid driver's license.

Duties
- Direct and manage traffic flow around work sites, intersections to ensure safety for workers and the public.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members to facilitate the movement of traffic and client trucks.
- Monitor and maintain clear signage and barriers to inform drivers of detours or changes in traffic patterns.
- Conduct regular inspections of traffic control setups to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with equipment operators regarding site conditions and traffic management needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in flagging is preferred.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours per day)
- Must have a active valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential hazards on-site.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety protocols. Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
- Certification or training in traffic control procedures is a must.
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently.
