Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones, greeting clients, and managing office correspondence
- Schedule and confirm appointments, hearings, and meetings
- Assist case manager/attorney with case management, including preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents
- Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, and filing
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure office supplies are stocked
- Provide general support to attorneys and staff as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a receptionist, legal assistant, or in a law office preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with legal case management software (e.g. MerusCase) is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and discreet with confidential information

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
