Press Brake Operator

We have immediate openings for Press Brake Operators in the Hayward, CA area.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up press brake machines (tools, dies, and settings)
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Operate the machine to bend metal sheets to exact angles and dimensions
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, rulers)
• Adjust machine settings for precision and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts for defects or inaccuracies
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment

⚙️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Basic math skills (measurements, angles, tolerances)
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience with CNC press brake machines (often preferred)
• Knowledge of metal types and bending techniques
• Physical ability to stand, lift materials, and work in a factory environment

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Vocational training or certification in machining/fabrication (preferred)
• On-the-job training is common
• Prior manufacturing or metalworking experience is a plus
