Position: Demand Planner

Position Type: Permanent

Location: Lakewood, NJ (onsite role)

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000/year

Seeking an experienced Demand Planner with at least 3-5 years of expertise in demand forecasting and inventory management. This role involves forecasting for retail accounts and factory orders to ensure optimal inventory levels and smooth supply chain operations. Experience working with major retailers is required, preferably with accounts such as Walmart, Target, and/or Amazon.

What you will be doing:

· Develop accurate demand forecasts for retail accounts, incorporating data, trends, and promotional insights.

· Plan factory orders to align production schedules with demand, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing stockouts or overstocks.

· Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal demand changes.

· Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve forecasting and inventory management.

What experience we are looking for:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred. Relevant experience may be considered.

· Minimum 3-5 years of demand planning experience, including working with major retailers.

· Proven ability to forecast factory orders and manage supply chain operations.

· Proficiency in demand planning tools, Excel, and understanding of retail metrics like OTIF and fill rates.

· Proficiency with demand planning software, including tools for demand forecasting, integrated business planning (IBP), supply chain management (SCM), and inventory optimization.

· Experience with collaborative planning tools and AI-powered solutions to improve forecasting accuracy.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
