Key Responsibilities
- Case Coordination: Manage assigned segments of the workers' compensation program, including claim documentation, reporting, and electronic file maintenance.
- Collaboration: Partner with medical providers, campus departments, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to support timely case management.
- Data Analysis: Analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend risk-mitigation strategies to reduce workplace injuries.
- Program Support: Assist with injury prevention initiatives, targeted safety training, policy development, and program evaluations for Risk Services leadership.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in workers’ compensation claims management (TPA, insurer, or large employer environment preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of occupational disability management and return-to-work processes.
- Experience developing and delivering training programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and claims management systems.
- Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM) or related coursework.
- Completion of The Institutes' WCCA 300 course or related coursework.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
