Part-Time On-Call Drug and Alcohol Screening Collector

Job Summary 

We are looking for a Drug Screening Collector to support medical and safety efforts at large scale construction site located in Boise, ID. This project is anticipated to last multiple years with exact timing to be determined by client requirements. 

This position is responsible for collecting samples for testing drug and alcohol and following site procedures and guidelines including HIPAA laws, regulations and guidelines.

 

Schedule: Overnight; Monday – Thursday 12:00am – 6:00am. 

During scheduled on-call periods, you are expected to report to work within one (1) hour of being notified.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oral fluid, urine drug and breath alcohol collection.
  • Trained to DOT standards for drug and alcohol testing. 
Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) OR
  • One to three years’ related experience and/or training OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CNA preferred

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed

 

Physical Demands

  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
  • Some bending and stretching could be required.
  • Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
  • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
  • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and climb stairs.
  • Ability to kneel for extended periods of time while rendering emergency care and/or CPR.

 

Work Environment

  • Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.
  • The noise level is usually moderate.
  • Air quality is good and temperature is controlled.
  • Normal medical clinic environment.

 

Employees assigned to an on-call shift will be paid $12.00 per hour for all scheduled on-call hours. If the employee is required to report to the clinic during an on-call shift, the employee will receive a $150.00 stipend for each occasion they are required to work, in addition to their regular hourly pay for time worked.

Final compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
