Automotive Project Engineer Summary:
Process Planning; Quality Specifications; Machine Specifications; Machine/Equipment Procurement; Installation/Trial Management; Quality Analysis, Adjustment and Improvement; Project Management; Schedule Control; Budget Control/Cost Reduction; Manufacturing Support/Process Tracking. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts as typical work is conducted on non- production times (10 hours average per week OT paid at 1.5x). Willing to support Business Travel as required.
Automotive Project Engineer Summary:
- BS in Engineering or Equivalent Experience (5 years automotive)
- Proficient Computer Skills: MS Office, CAD packages (Autocad, Solidworks, Catia)
- Manufacturing/processing experience
- 20% - 50% (depending on role, multiple vacancies exist) travel to other sites in USA, Canada, Mexico or Japan and locally at vendor sites (all expenses paid, $75/day meal allowance, and paid time travel)
- New Model Introduction experience.
- Experience with robotics & PLCs would be a bonus
- Experience in one of the following processed would be considered an asset: Robotic Paint applications, E-Coat, Robotic Welding, Sheet Metal forming, Injection Molding, Conveyance - process flow / conveyor systems / AGVs
Salary : $80,000 - $150,000
