We are looking for an experienced Dig Crew Operator to join our growing Sewer Department. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely and efficiently, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.
As a Dig Crew Operator, you will play a key role in residential and commercial sewer repair and replacement projects. This position is responsible for operating excavation equipment, assisting with sewer installations, and helping crews complete projects safely, efficiently, and professionally.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment
- Perform trenching, digging, grading, and backfilling for sewer line repairs and replacements
- Assist with sewer and underground utility installations
- Read utility locates and work safely around existing utilities
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Work closely with sewer technicians and crew members to complete jobs efficiently
- Follow all safety standards and excavation procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous excavation and equipment operating experience required
- Sewer, underground utility, or plumbing industry experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable with a strong work ethic

- Earn based on a fully uncapped commission w/ OTE between $50,000 - $70,000 annually (depending on experience)

The compensation for this position is fully commission based and expected to range between $50,000 - $70,000 per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
