Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assembling, welding, and wiring 12-volt electrical systems in commercial trucks. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrives in a hands-on work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install truck bodies, accessories, and components.
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed for custom upfits.
- Wire and troubleshoot 12-volt electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Use power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure all work meets company and industry quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in truck assembly, welding, or mechanical work preferred.
- Knowledge of 12-volt wiring and electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Welding certification (preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not required).
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
