Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Warehouse Workers for our Romeoville client.Pay: $19.41 per hourShift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - FridayJob Details:Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedConveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areasSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product codeAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping departmentMarks materials with identifying informationOpens bales, crates, and other containersRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedWeighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standardsUses computer to look up parts and locationsPrepares and/or packages orders to customer's DWI'sMust be able to identify and understand product, part #"s and quality requirementsActively participates in workplace organization on a daily basisThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderateQualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
