Landscaper

Work Now Hawaii is a community based nonprofit organization committed to providing employment training and opportunities for people living with disabilities. • Position Title: Landscaper

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, an eye for detail, and a strong work ethic. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping tasks to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. Island wide openings available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of plants, trees, and lawn care practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and bending.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Base Access preferred but not required

Mental Demands:

• Able to communicate effectively, understand, and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work with teams.

Physical Demands:

• Able to work on their feet for a minimum of 4 hours per day.
• Able to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
• Able to work in a warm climate.
• Able to climb stair
• Perform lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of landscaping projects.
• Follow safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment when performing job duties.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Work Hours:

• Between 6am-2pm, early mornings may be required
• Opportunities for 20 - 35 hours per week
