What a Typical Day Looks Like
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support individuals and collaborate with your team. Your day may include:
- Providing assistance, supervision and support in community settings to promote integrated participation, volunteerism, competitive employment, connections, or other meaningful activities.
- Supporting outreach, scheduling, and follow‑through to help individuals fully engage in community activities and interact with others.
- Helping individuals build and maintain positive, reciprocal relationships within their community.
- Supporting friendships—whether with people who do or do not receive services—by helping facilitate shared activities and encouraging interdependence.
- Providing on‑site support in employment settings while helping foster strong relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
Who You Are
- You enjoy working with others and being a positive influence.
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You hold a high school diploma or GED.
- You have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
- You exercise good judgment and can build strong, respectful relationships.
- You are reliable, empathetic, and committed to meeting your scheduling obligations.
