We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Freight Forwarding professional to quote, book, and manage primarily air freight shipments. This role requires a responsible, punctual coordinator with entry-level freight forwarding experience who can manage shipment details, maintain accurate documentation, provide timely tracking updates, and communicate effectively with clients. The position reports to the Operations Manager and Supply Chain Director.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipment quotes for air freight.
- Book and coordinate shipments.
- Manage freight forwarding activities from booking through delivery.
- Maintain accurate shipment documentation.
- Provide timely tracking and status updates.
- Schedule deliveries.
- Communicate with clients regarding shipment progress and requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in freight forwarding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with freight forwarding and shipment management.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
