WELDER

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated WELDER to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and ability to interpret technical schematics will be essential to ensure the highest quality standards are met on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from pipeline installations to HVAC systems, in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and other specialized welding techniques to join metal parts according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for welding and assembly.
• Execute fire sprinkler fitting, pipe bending, tube fabrication, and plumbing tasks adhering to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
• Assist with rigging, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship.

Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, and specific welding techniques.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, pipeline construction, plumbing, and related mechanical systems.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, soldering equipment, pipe threading tools, and tube benders.
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices and experience working in manufacturing or construction environments.
• Ability to interpret schematics and ASME codes & standards for quality assurance.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy materials safely.
• Experience with maintenance tasks involving welding equipment or mechanical systems.
