Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in route inspections on all equipment, including security devices.
- Properly secure load prior to transport following DOT regulations.
- Operate tractor trailer combinations.
- Transport product while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE.
- Participate in loading and unloading girders.
- Perform route surveys prior to delivery.
- Ensure cleanliness and good operating conditions for assigned tractors.
- Receive work assignments and report back on job completion.
- Use consistent communication with dispatchers.
- Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.
