Worcester Youth & Family Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking an energetic and dedicated Worcester Navigation Director to lead our resource linkage program, ensuring families in Worcester County receive comprehensive support and access to vital resources. In this pivotal role, you will oversee program services and maintain good working relationships with partners and grantors. You will also provide direct case management to families as well as supervise navigation staff in doing so. Emphasis is on fostering a collaborative environment that promotes independence, inclusion, and well-being. Your leadership will drive the success of Worcester Navigation, ensuring compliance with regulations while building strong partnerships within the community. Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the Worcester Navigation program for families in Worcester County.
- Provide case management and resource linkage to families in Worcester County.
- Supervise and support navigation staff, including training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
- Manage relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, government agencies, and families to coordinate services effectively.
- Oversee program operations, including compliance monitoring, and grant reporting to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Develop strategies for outreach and engagement to connect clients with appropriate resources and support systems.
- Ensure staff adhere to social work best practices, behavioral health standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, program activities, and outcomes through clear writing skills and data management tools such as Microsoft Office.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in education, social work, family studies, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with clients from underserved communities preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Supervisory experience in social services or related fields; capable of leading effectively.
- Familiarity with local resources preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement, staff supervision, and community outreach.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.
