TITLE: VPA Assistant to Music Faculty
DEPARTMENT: Visual/Performing Arts
SUPERVISOR: Kyle Martin
SSTA APPROVER: Kyle Martin
SCHEDULE: 2-4 Hours per week
General Statement of Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide general support for music faculty and WSU student music ensembles:
- Set up and take down before and after rehearsals (moving chairs, music stands, etc.)
- Helping maintain and inventory musical equipment and instruments
- Periodically checking the security of music practice rooms and rehearsal spaces
- Occasionally moving equipment from one location on campus to another for rehearsals and/or performances
- Photocopying parts for rehearsals
Must be available on Tuesdays from 2pm-2:30pm, and 4:30pm-5:00pm
Job Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a musician and member of ensembles preferred by not necessary
