SUBJECT: Teacher: Primary - Assessment Stabilization Program (ASP)REPORTS TO: Building PrincipalASP (Assessment Stabilization Program) * The Worcester Public Schools is seeking a teacher for its ASP program, (Assessment Stabilization Program) which is a regular education/elementary classroom (multi-grade) that educates students who qualify for a 45-day evaluation placement due to challenges in the social-emotional, behavioral, and/or mental health disabilities domains. The program utilizes the tenets of PBIS and Responsive Classroom as well as CPI nonviolent crisis intervention. ASP classrooms provide grade level instruction to students and utilize all Worcester Public Schools initiatives (Reading Workshop, LLI, enVision Math, Fundations). Direct professional development is provided by Goddards Instructional Coaches to ensure students are provided quality instruction during the 45 day period.The successful applicant will assume the responsibility for delivering high quality instructional experiences through creativity, resourcefulness, perseverance, empathy, and sound judgment consistent with the curriculum frameworks and instructional standards as well as the rules and regulations of the Worcester Public Schools.

Responsible for using innovative approaches, and instructional strategies, including the effective use of technologies, to increase student learning and confidence to learn.7.
Responsible for the promotion of high standards and expectations for student achievement.8. Responsible for the promotion of equity and appreciation of diversity to ensure equitable opportunities for student learning, including, for implementing specific strategies for students with special needs, with 504 plans and\or second language learners.9. Responsible for assuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color, gender, age, marital status, religion, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, homelessness, or disability.10.
