SUBJECT: AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR CHAPTER 74 (VHS1157-12)REPORTS TO: BUILDING PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: This individual is accountable for teaching and supervision of students in Automotive technology state frameworks and curriculum disciplines under the direction of the Automotive Technology Department Head at Worcester Technical High School.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (to be included along with other responsibilities)1. Responsible for the implementation of departmental curriculum objectives based on State of Massachusetts VTE frameworks Auto Technology2. Responsible for the integration of the department's curriculum where appropriate.3. Performance of other job-related duties as assigned4.

Advanced educational preparation in engine and diagnostic applications5. Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations6. Evidence of good human relation skills7. Competent in computer applicationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs2. Experience and/or comprehensive training regarding second language acquisition.3. Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese or an African Language.
