Worcester Cultural Academy Charter Public School
Worcester, MA Part Time
POSTED ON 6/7/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/4/2026
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Part-Time Worcester Cultural Academy Charter Public School Worcester, MA | Part-Time | Minimum 2 days on-site per week Worcester Cultural Academy is seeking an experienced and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a part-time role based at our Worcester campus. We are looking for a candidate who brings clinical expertise, strong evaluation skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, and we welcome all candidates who reflect the cultural and linguistic diversity of our community. Who We Are Worcester Cultural Academy (WCA) is a growing charter public school that opened in August 2023 with a vision of becoming a K–8 community. We launched as a K-4 school and have added a grade every year since — this fall we welcome our first 7th graders. As an EL (Expeditionary Learning) Education school, we believe in hands-on learning that challenges students to grow in three dimensions: mastery of knowledge and skills, character, and high-quality work. We partner with organizations like the EcoTarium, Worcester Art Museum, and Hanover Theater and anchor our curriculum in Learning Expeditions that make learning meaningful and real. Every student — including those with speech and language needs — deserves full access to that kind of learning, and our SLP is essential to making that possible. We want to be honest with prospective candidates: this is energizing, demanding work. You will be carrying a direct service caseload, managing a full evaluation and IEP workload, supervising an SLPA on-site, and building trust with students, families, and staff — all while contributing meaningfully to a school community that is still growing. If that kind of challenge excites you, we want to hear from you. Schedule and Presence This is a part-time position. The ideal candidate will be on-site at WCA for a minimum of 2 consistent days per week, with additional time as needed for evaluations, IEP meetings, and SLPA supervision. Specific scheduling will be determined collaboratively based on caseload needs and candidate availability.
