WELDING INSTRUCTORS
Wor Wic Community College is accepting applications for part time welding instructors to teach courses in welding technology, including introductory and advanced welding, rigging, print reading, and safety. Instructional areas may include shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), and welding inspection and testing. Instructors will engage students in hands on learning, provide academic advising, and contribute to curriculum development aligned with current industry needs.
Requirements include either (1) an associate degree in a relevant field plus three years of full-time welding experience (6,000 hours) OR (2) an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) plus three years of full-time welding experience (6,000) hours); OR (3) a high school diploma or the equivalent plus six years of full-time welding experience (12,000 hours).
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching or training experience.
HVAC INSTRUCTORS
Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for part-time HVAC instructors to teach courses such as introductory and advanced HVAC, residential and commercial load calculations, print reading and basic electrical and motor controls.
Requirements include either (1) an associate degree in a relevant field plus three years of full-time HVAC industry experience (6,000 hours) OR (2) high school diploma or the equivalent plus six years of full-time HVAC industry experience (12,000 hours); completed apprenticeship and/or state licensure required.
Preference will be given to applicants with teaching or training experience and one or more EPA certifications.

These positions are part-time and do not include benefits. The starting pay will depend on qualifications and experience and will likely range from $847 to $915 per load hour.
