We specialize in innovative galenic formulations and drug delivery systems (DDS), including transdermal patches and oral films. Our R&D pipelines are rapidly expanding, supported by a state-of-the-art EU-GMP manufacturing facility in Slovenia.
We are seeking a Senior-Level R&D Professional with pharmaceutical industry experience to join our U.S. team in Irvine, CA, and collaborate closely with our Korean headquarters.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Research and Development Specialist, based in Irvine, CA, with some work from home acceptable. The Research and Development Specialist will conduct research and experiments in the lab, analyze data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the development of new products and technologies. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to scientific reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Formulation design and development of DDS-based pharmaceutical products
Design and planning of experiments and delivery technologies (patch, film, semisolids, etc.)
Prepare regulatory-compliant documentation for U.S. and Korean authorities (e.g., IND, BLA support)
Collaborate with cross-border R&D teams for joint projects and technical transfers
Contribute to global project planning and innovation strategies
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field
- Industry experience in formulation R&D, especially in Drug Delivery Systems (DDS)
- Hands-on experience in laboratory research, including experimental design, formulation, and data interpretation
- Familiarity with global pharmaceutical regulations and technical documentation (e.g., IND, BLA preparation preferred)
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and experimental results interpretation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Korean proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional, multicultural teams
- Experience in pharmaceutical or cosmetic product development is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship available)
